Re: Avast download site? « Reply #2 on: April 08, 2010, 03:08:24 PM » If you replace setup_av_free.exe by setup_av_free_eng.exe, you'll get the English-only installer (though the difference in size is rather small, compared to the whole file, and you certainly don't have to install the additional languages, so I don't see why you have such a problem about the all-language setup).

Avast 5 ashquick.exe - Avast WEBforum
This worked great with Avast 4.8 I have it set for Avast 5 but I do not see it scan the downloaded file, anymore. It uses to show a popup window showing it scanning the file but not with Avast 5. Am I looking at this wrong. I felt safer knowing that it was scanning the downloaded file, even though I did trust the downloaded file from file hippo ...
