Notion desktop wont'load (windows) : r/Notion - Reddit
it worked, just uninstall the app, press windows key + r type %appdata% press enter look for notion folder delete it then reinstall. Now I uninstalled notion again and replaced the newnotion folder created with the old one I had copied. I logged back in and it works fine so yayyy! :)

Notion Windows Desktop App stuck on loading screen : r/Notion - Reddit
For those who come across the same problem to this day, try resetting your Notion desktop app by: Closing your current Notion session. Within Windows file explorer, enter C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming into the navigation bar. Delete the 'Notion' folder. Re-open Notion.

What is the best *offline* alternative to Notion? : r/Notion - Reddit
If it is mostly writing related tasks, have a look at Obsidian. It is similar to Roam Research and works offline. I use Bear and the fact that Notion doesn’t have offline support is stopping me from migrating over completely. I hate the name but TiddlyWiki is the stable and infinitely customizable alternative to Roam Research.
