Try reset Office activation status with tool from link: OLicenseCleanup.vbs, the tool can help solve the issue if it is caused by account conflict. Go to Start Menus>Settings>Account>Access work or school, disconnect all your accounts from here, then restart your PC, sign in Excel again and check the result.

Having to log in all the time and"Just a moment" taking forever
I'm using my (home) computer to connect to a company's Office 365. Basically OneDrive, Outlook, Teams and Word/Excel/PowerPoint. The company has fairly strict security settings, but possibly any computer can connect all those programs to the Microsoft cloud. The problem is, Windows asks for re-login all the time, at least once a day.

2. Go to User Accounts and Family Safety -> Click on User Accounts. 3. In the left pane, click Manage your credentials. 4. In the Credential Manager > Windows Credentials > Generic Credentials look for the live account ID and password (your Microsoft Account) and remove it and restart the computer. Report abuse. I have the same issue. My Office related apps all work, but the OFFICE app opens to a blank white screen.

Note: Once Office Home and Business 2021 (am guessing that is what you have purchased) you no longer need to be connected to the internet. I suggest that you redeem your Offices somewhere where there is an internet connection and then take them back to where there is no internet connection.
