WebFiling can be used by all companies with company numbers that contain all digits e.g. 1020304 or have the prefixes: NI, R0 and SC for Limited Companies. OC, SO and NC for Limited Liability Partnerships. Please see guidance on NILLP prefix.

On the confirmation statement you must confirm that your basic company information is correct and up to date. This information includes the registered office address, registers, officers, business description (SIC), share capital and shareholders.

Enter the company number and select where the company was registered. Select 'Help with authentication code', then 'I do not have an authentication code'. After you've requested the code, we'll send it by post within 5 working days. If you still have not received your code, contact Companies House.

Company representatives or their agents who know the company authentication code can log in to WeFiling in the usual way and file charge documents just as they file any other document for the company. For charge documents to be filed by anyone else, a lender authentication code will be required.

If you are a brand new customer to Companies House online filing services, the email address and password supplied will also be used to register you for the Companies House WebFiling service. WebFiling enables you to file other company documents online and also save and return to previous filings.
