find the installation folder of HPOA and then find the system folder, in this folder you should find a file calledd default.ini. then. I can confirmed that this solution works, but when ron is supposed to fight with imp in carpe retractum challenge in the beginning of the game. The imp won't move.

If you want to try scaling it up to HD, you can change the resolution in the hppoa.ini file. It can be found in your Documents folder, under Harry Potter™ and the Prisoner of Azkaban (default location C:\Users\<YourWindowsUserName>\Documents\Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban\hppoa.ini).

Your solution works to start the game, but it still freezes when Ron meets the first imp. My solution is play to that save point, then close the game, use configsys in search, tap the boot tab and set it to safe boot. Restart, play the HPPOA from the steps leading up to the imps, play through to the next save area.

J'ai récemment voulu jouer à Harry Potter à l'école des sorciers que j'ai acheté il y a très longtemps en CDROM. Je l'ai donc installé sur mon nouveau ordinateur avec Windows 10 64 bits. Lorsque je veux lancer le jeu en cliquant sur le raccourci du bureau ou directement sur le .exe, Windows me demande les droits d'administrateur, j'accepte puis rien ne se passe.
