So far it is just BBC iPlayer and YouTube that I have nocticed a problem with. I was hoping that this problem would right itself once I have had the new box for a few days, but time will tell. In the meantime I will see if I can still get access to the two problem channels via my laptop, just as a back-up. 0 Kudos.

Working much better but I am finding that BBC Iplayer picture quality is slightly pixilated and generally poorer than live/recorded tv. Last night I also wasn't able to open any of the free apps. This was fixed by a box reboot. I have tried disconnecting ethernet to see if that made any difference but picture is same both wired and unwired.

Choose Keep Recordings, that means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up. You will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again. Options. on 20-01-202316:06. Have you tried rebooting the box by turning the power off and on with either the switch on the back of the box or at the plug to see if that make any difference. If that doesn't work you could try a factory reset. It's only a partial system reset and not a complete factory reset.

IPlayer is working on every platform except VM360. VM blaming the BBC app, later being much more helpful, but couldn’t fix. Back to VM. What happens? I get the “let’s get you connected” IPlayer message, carry out the instructions and it loads however, log out/in and it’s back to the “let’s get you connected message. So frustrating.

Reading other threads on this subject it seems that these boxes now struggle with recent updates to the iPlayer app and an upgrade to V6 boxes is the solution. I would add that the boxes worked fine for 6+ years. There are no flashing lights on either box. I've rebooted the boxes numerous times but no improvement.
