When you see it, left click the NVIDIA Settings icon. This will open the NVIDIA Control Panel. In the NVIDIA control panel on the left will be a category named Display. For me it was already open, if it's not open for you, left click the + sign next to the word Display, to expand the Display category. You should see Adjust desktop color settings.

Most likely a driver conflict as it causes windows to load the HDMI audio output twice. To disable the install prompt. Press Windows Key + R. type services.msc and hit enter. Find Nvidia Display Container LS in the services list. Right click.
