For some reason, the Print Screen key doesn't work. I've tried various fixes that I Googled, but to no avail. The keyboard driver is up-to-date, troubleshooting the keyboard doesn't turn up any problems, etc. This is likely a setting in the computer's BIOS. In other words, BIOS settings control if you must hold the Fn key or not.

The second area is called on-screen keyboard, access keys, and print screen. Option 3 says"Use the print screen button to open screen snipping" . Turn that off and then you will be able to assign the printscrn button in Greenshot to the"select region" option and it will work properly. See images. HB.

Incorrect. You just have to turn off Screen Capture from Settings > Accessibility> Kewyboard to simply copy the Screen Print. See the screenshot below: Depending on your Keyboard, you might have to press Fn+PrtScn to use the PrtScn feature. Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries.

Yes, this ^^^ !! All my browser searches can find is"Toggle off the Use the Print Screen key to open Snipping Tool option" in Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard. Well, it is not there. What I see is"Use Print Screen key to open screen capture" & as Rascalmom said, that disables screen capture.

On Windows 11, if you have multiple monitors with different scale settings and resolutions, the snipping tool doesn't work properly. What happens is the smallest monitor's resolution determines what portion of the other monitors can be snipped. For example, I have three monitors on my Surface Laptop 4, the primary is 2496 x 1664 and is set to 150%.
