Explorer. 30-08-2022 07:20 AM. If your Samsung TV won't connect to WiFi, you need to reset it. Unplug your TV and wait a full 60 seconds. While the TV is unplugged, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. After the 60 seconds are up, plug your Samsung TV back in and it should connect. Hope this helps.

VLC equivalent for Samsung TV - Samsung Community
For me personally the biggest disadvantage of built-in player in Samsung TV is an enforcement of subtitles during video playback - VLC is one example of the good player, that does not do the same. To disable subtitles - pretty much as switching between audio tracks - you need clicking navigation buttons on remote control multiple times and it is for each video sample of course 😫

If your Samsung TV is not getting all channels you wil need to go to the source menu and select 'TV' > then connect your antenna to the RF connector on the back of the TV and select 'Chanel Scan' > select either 'Air, Cable, or Both' and scan for all available channels that have a reliable signal.
