Hi Andrejs, I discovered after posting my original question that when you initiate screen or window sharing, and the participant view shrinks to a small single camera image, you can click directly in the middle of that camera image to restore the Teams meeting window to normal, allowing viewing of all participants and controls.

I have the same problem. Most of our Ventura users cannot share their screen using New Teams, despite the permission being given. They are switching back to using Classic Teams for the time being. However, my concern is that Microsoft is sunsetting Classic Teams at the beginning of July.

How can I share a mobile device screen within teams, to train users how to use an app? I want to be able to share the screen, then share my desktop or a window on my PC seamlessly. I have tried signing into MS team on both devices and sharing that way but it is far from seamless, more 'hit and miss', in terms of the transition between the two.

Scroll through the column on the left, and select Screen recording. Click the padlock icon at the bottom, and enter the password to your account. Once the padlock is ‘unlocked’. In the pane on the right, select the checkbox next to Microsoft Teams. Quit Microsoft Teams and open it again to share your screen.

Only the presenter is able to share screen during meeting, and this role can do anything in the meeting. So, we are unable to just assign the sharing screen ability to an attendee in a Teams meeting. We don't have too much experience on Canvas, but once you can access Teams on the web during the meeting, you should be able to change the meeting options.

A user reports a problem with Teams (for work) crashing shortly after sharing a screen on Windows 11 Pro. The user provides diagnostic logs and tries to disable GPU hardware acceleration, but the issue persists.
