Which Apps Should I Allow through Defender Firewall
I believe my PC was attacked and I've been going through the security settings and noticed almost all the apps have permission to Communicate through the firewall. Some of the apps I don't use or ever heard of, like 3D Builder. The settings page is also split between Private and Public. Since I'm using a desktop, can I uncheck all the Public boxes?

Can't access advanced settings in Windows Defender Firewall.
By design, when you install a 3rd party Antivirus (Kaspersky Security Cloud for example) it will disable Windows Firewall or other antivirus software to avoid conflict. This is probably one of the reasons why you cannot access the settings in Windows Firewall. Hope this helps. Have a great day!
