Downplating a motorhome from 3700 to 3500? | MotorhomeFun
Evening all, Just looking at a motorhome that has been uprated to 3700kg. From all your experience out there, is it an easy job to downplate back to 3500 for those of us who have the 3500kg limit. Any advice would be much appreciated. You can do it yourself but ONLY if you are sure it will be usable at the lower weight which will be questionable.

[NB: as it is a Motorhome - no GVT Test Certificate was required] In my case - I stated I wanded Max Permissible Mass (MPM) to increase from 3500kg to 3850kg. Feb 13, 2020. #17. Jim I sold my 2017 Globecar Campscout August last year with motorhom depot I told them what I wanted and they advertised it £3000 more, it works out at 6.666%. They sold our van within a Month to the first couple that they bought to view the van, all very professionally done with no tyre kickers etc.
