Install Plugins - Paint.NET
Navigate to the plugin file just moved and Right-click on the file. Select Properties from the context sensitive menu. Plugin Properties. Under the"General" tab, look for an Unblock button next to the Security label. If the button is present, click it to unblock the file and allow it's use on the computer.

paint.net 4.3.9 - released on March 8th, 2022. This is a servicing release that fixes a handful of bugs, and updates the bundled AvifFileType plugin. Added a workaround for a bug in the latest Windows 11 Insider"Dev Channel" build 10.0.22567.0 that is causing a lot of crashes. Microsoft has a hotfix coming soon.
