The hourly rate for this role is £9.77 - a basic rate of £8.72 per hour + £1.05 per hour in holiday pay. Although these roles are technically under zero-hour contract terms, we are looking for those who are willing to commit to a consistent number of days/hours per month - ideally a traditional Monday-Friday 9-5.
I've known some really good writers who were declined by a mill. I think it sometimes has to do with supply and demand, they may only be looking for writers in niches where they have a shortage. Whatever the reason, you may not know. You may find better opportunities if you just move on and try something different. 2.
I'm about to give up on them. They take forever to review articles and always nitpicking everything. They claim it is awkwardly written when it isn't and tell you to do one thing then change the rules. Plus they never tell you what to change. I have made $15 plus article on other sites and never had this much trouble.
Hello. I joined Copify and they accepted my application as a standard writer..I did my first job and it was sent back to me for edits, which I did accordingly. Now, they are telling me to wait for my application to be approved within 7 days.. has anyone experienced that while working at copify? Copify is dogshit-tier slave labor work.
Copify (or the client, I'm not entirely sure which side was responding, since I don't use the platform often) responded by telling me to check the brief and handle the revisions. Sure. Whatever. I let them know about the problem, and they didn't mention any issues with the body of the content. Time to focus on some keywords.
On a whim, I signed up with Copify and got accepted. The pay is averages to .04 cents a word and the turnaround is very fast (a few hours). That shocked me as it doesn't allow a freelancer to manage their schedule very well. Articles seem to be between 250-400 words and pay seems pretty rigid. $7.50 for 250 words and $16.00 for 400 words.
Does anyone here work for Copify? I haven't seen too many posts about it. The editing sure seems picky for the pay. It's like they don't follow the client brief. One time they told me to omit the 'in' in for eg 'plastic surgery in Boston' then they tell you to omit it. Anyhow most articles are easy to write, even if the subjects repeat..
The app.copify.com is the client login and not, as far as I can tell, a writer one. Hopefully, I'll receive an answer. Well, I received a swift reply from Martin Harrison when I used the Help email:"We are working with a smaller group of writers now, predominantly based here in the UK."
Just thought it may interest some to know that Copify went into liquidation Sep 6. Since they took my funds when they closed in my market, I thought…
I wrote for Copify for a few years. Must have completed over 10,000 orders for them. Been working with direct clients more recently, but now I have some more capacity. As some of you may know Copify is not operating any longer (despite their website still being online)....
