There was a story on the Dexcom UK instagram and seems to suggest there will be an announcement next week regarding the One+ in the UK. Hopefully this will replace the One and be available on prescription. I have been self funding the G7 and from what I gather the One+ is the same form factor...

Unless you have a specific medical need (e.g. pregnancy), the only Dexcom available on the NHS is Dexcom One. My understanding is that this does not have an interface allowing you to use it on smart watches. Have you looked at third party applications such as xDrip+ which may allow you to export the Libre data to your FitBit?

Overall the continuous Dexcom One readings, along with the improved relationship between Dexcom and actual BG makes Dexcom One better for me. But if Libre 2 and my body had got along better together, then Libre 2 in conjunction with the unofficial Diabox app would have been better for me.

I agree about with the adhesion. They are much harder to dislodge than Dexcom ONE. However, if the sensor body itself becomes separated from the adhesive (while the adhesive itself is still firmly in place) and falls off then you have another problem - the adhesive is not securely attached to the plastic form factor of the sensor/transmitter.

For anyone wishing to take advantage of the Dexcom one free trial but are having trouble finding it on their site, just Google Dexcom UK free trial . I'm currently on libre 2 with no issues but have got a Dexcom one coming to try it out. You do have to pay £4.99 postage.

Thank you for mentioning your phone models too. My phone is a pretty ancient and basic Samsung and I highly doubt it’s compatible. I did try to look for the Dexcom receiver on the Dexcom website so I could check the price, but I couldn’t find it. I’m still undecided whether I’d go for a receiver or bite the bullet and buy a new phone.

The detail I forgot to mention was that I bought the unit as a one-off from an Amazon seller. Dexcom confirmed to me that they only guarantee replacements for faulty sensors if bought directly from them. Eventually managed to get through to a human on Amazon who refunded me for it. Thanks again for the help 🙂

Dexcom are well aware of the issues though and are rectifying the problem which is a relief. I'm def a lot happier with the Dex than when I first started it. If you do go for the G6 do make sure that you set the alarm to go off at 5mmol because otherwise you could end up hypo before you know it.

Hi Everyone, It appears using paracetamol can cause higher readings for those using cgm. Apparently, libre is unaffected by it. Has anyone any experience of this? The Freestyle Libre is also the only CGM system on the market with no acetaminophen interference. Dexcom and Medtronic CGM systems...
