Right-click the Windows key and select Device Manager. Expand Sound, video and game controllers. Right-click your sound card and click Properties. Select the Driver tab, and select Update Driver. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

Get"Dxdiag has detected that there might have been a problem ...
If I answer yes. all goes well -- I get absolutely no information except that the directx version is 11, and the system is working well. Yeah right. If I allow the DirectShow test, DXDIAG FAILS and dumps off the screen every single time. NOW HOW DO YOU FIX THIS MESS? It looks to me like DXDiag needs to be uninstalled. How does one do this?

Dxdiag shows DirectX 12 Ultimate as Disabled. How to enable?
I have MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti as gfx card and DirectX Ultimate is disabled in Dxdiag diagnostic tool, either. I checked"Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling" in Settings > System > Display > Graphics > Change Default Graphics Settings and it was already turned on, but it was of no help, either. Hope this helps.

Start - type in Search box - COMMAND find at top of list - RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN. sfc /scannow. How to analyze the log file entries that the Microsoft Windows Resource Checker (SFC.exe) program.
