Select Start > Settings > System > Display, and look at the section that shows your displays. Select the display you want to change. When that's done, follow the instructions below.
To get started, click on the"Windows" button located in the bottom left of your desktop. If the taskbar has been moved, the button might be found on one of the other edges of the display. Alternatively, you can press the"Windows" button on your keyboard. Next, type in"Display settings."
Change display options. After you're connected to your external displays, you can change settings like your resolution, screen layout, and more. To see available options, in Settings, select System > Display.
To find out if your PC supports this, select Settings > System > Display. Select Brightness, look for the Change brightness automatically when lighting changes check box, and then select it to use this feature. This automatic setting helps make sure your screen is readable wherever you go.
Click Quick Settings menu in the bottom right corner of the taskbar, locate the brightness slider with a sun icon and drag the circle to increase or decrease the brightness of your display. If the brightness slider is grayed out, you'll need to use your monitor's physical controls.
